Call for Papers
The Conference on Technologies for Future Cities (CTFC) invites researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to submit original research papers on innovative technologies for future cities. The conference aims to bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in developing smart and sustainable cities.
We welcome submissions that address theoretical foundations, practical applications, case studies, and experimental results related to technologies that will shape the cities of tomorrow.
Papers are invited from researchers/academia/Industry under different tracks. All papers will be published. Selected papers after review and presentation would be published in the form of a book chapter in the prestigious Atlantis Highlights in Sustainable Development https://www.atlantis-press.com/proceedings/series/ahsd/publishing-info which is part of Springer Nature.
All other papers would be published in conference proceedings with ISBN number. All the papers submitted would go through a double blind review after a plagiarism check. Plagiarism should be less than 10%. The papers can be presented both in offline/online mode.

Paper Submission Guidelines
1. Paper Submission Process
All submissions must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The submission process involves the following steps:
Prepare Your Manuscript
Format your paper according to the conference template and ensure it meets all requirements.
Create Account
Register or log in to the conference submission system to start the submission process.
Submit Paper
Upload your paper and complete the submission form before the deadline.
Last day of Submission Sep 30, 2025
2. Plagiarism Policy
The conference has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submitted papers will be checked for plagiarism using specialized software.
Important Notice
Plagiarism should be less than 10%
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, ideas, or results from another source without proper attribution
- Self-plagiarism (reusing significant portions of one's own previously published work without citing the original source)
- Submitting a paper written by someone else
- Presenting someone else's research as one's own
Authors must properly cite all sources of information and ideas that are not their own. Direct quotations must be enclosed in quotation marks and properly attributed.
3. Manuscript Formatting Instructions
All submitted articles will be published by Atlantis Press, which is part of Springer Nature. Submitted articles must strictly adhere to the Springer Nature conference proceedings format. Please carefully follow the guidelines (link) to ensure a smooth submission process.
All submissions must follow the conference template. Papers that do not comply with the formatting guidelines may be rejected without review.

Authors are required to use these templates without altering the predefined formatting or style.

- Springer Nature Book Publishing Policies, which also covers Atlantis Press (link)
- Submit the manuscript in Word Format only.
- Figures and Tables must be of high definition and good quality.
- The manuscript must be limited to max Eight pages in length.
- Ensure that the full paper is submitted with the names and affiliations of all authors.
Review Process
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least three members of the program committee. Papers will be evaluated based on originality, technical soundness, significance, presentation, and relevance to the conference.

Papers are checked for formatting, scope, and plagiarism
Peer Review
Three reviewers evaluate each paper based on set criteria
Decision
Accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject
Camera-Ready
Authors prepare final version addressing reviewer comments
Review Criteria
- Originality: Novel contribution to the field
- Technical Quality: Sound methodology and analysis
- Significance: Impact and relevance to the field
- Presentation: Clear writing and organization
- Relevance: Alignment with conference themes
- References: Appropriate citation of related work
Selection for Oral or Poster Presentations
After the review process, papers will be selected for either oral presentation or poster presentation based on reviewer’s feedback. Authors will be notified of their presentation format (oral or poster) prior to the conference. Please ensure that you are prepared for both formats.
Post-Conference Publication
All accepted papers will be published. Selected papers after review and presentation would be published in the form of a book chapter in "Atlantis Highlights in Sustainable Development – Atlantis Press (Springer Nature)". Remaining accepted papers or would be published in conference proceedings with ISBN number. All submitted papers with plagiarism less than 10% would go through a double blind review process.
